Hi, ive lost a microSD card in the reader, it has gobbled it up. It disappeared into the reader. I have taken the back cover off the laptop and i cannot find it, it may be behind the mainboard. Anyone have this problem? How was it resolved?

So I have managed to retrieve the card. I removed the back cover off the laptop again, where I spotted it behind the main board. With a bit of careful jiggery pokery I managed to slide the card out.
I have figured how it got there.
There is a large enough gap between the microSD slot in the main board and the slot in the case for the microSD to slip through into behind the mainboard. A bit of a design flaw, Im certain this will happen to someone else at some point. But to be honest a bit of carelessness by me when inserting it.
All good now, no damage to the reader, or SD card, they work perfectly.

I have never heard of anyone else having this issue and I have been part of this forum since 2009.
Your notebook has a microSD media card reader and no other sized SD memory card beside will fit in it.
Those micro SDcard are seriously tiny.
I suggest carefully looking in the area you were in when you tried putting the card in.
The card is probably on the floor or wherever else you were using the notebook.
