Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was wondering if it is possible to replace the core i5-2540M cpu with a Higher core i5 gen processor ....and if it is possible to do so, what is the highest gen that i can use on my hp Probook 4530s Laptop??....Please help me out

Hi:

 

Your notebook's chipset only supports Intel second generation core processors such as the one you have installed now.

 

You should be able to upgrade to the intel dual core Intel Core i7-2620M processor if you wanted.
