Missing Bottom Cover Screws – HP EliteBook Folio G1

Hello,

After repasting my laptop CPU and upgrading the NVMe drive, I seem to have misplaced the Torx screws that secure the bottom cover to the laptop.

Can someone from HP confirm that the correct screws I need are M2x3 T5 Torx screws? Additionally, are all the screws the same length, or do I also need M2x4 T5 screws?

The laptop model is HP EliteBook Folio G1.

Hi:

According to chapter 5, page 23 of the service manual, all 8 screws are T8 M2.0×3.0.

Just a quick follow-up question: Is the bottom cover with P/N 850905-001 interchangeable with P/N 857630-001? I think i have the lightweight model since it has no glass around the screen, but the cover is 850905-001

I can't say for sure, but both part numbers according to the parts list, are supported for the HP EliteBook Folio G1:

850905-001

HP PartSurfer

You can see if your notebook's product number is present on both parts lists.
