I finally took the plunge to upgrade the OS on my old CQ50-115NR from Vista Pro to Win 10 Pro. In general, I don't update because I have always had problems after updates. Everything works after the upgrade to Win 10 Pro, except for a "Coprocessor" being flagged under "Other Devices" in Device manager as missing its driver. I found several threads from a couple of years ago about the missing coprocessor driver but none of the laptop models referenced reflect my laptop. Can anyone provide a link to a suitable driver for my laptop?

Hi:
HP retired support for your notebook since it is more than 10 years old.
This reputable 3rd party driver website has the driver you need to install the coprocessor device...
After you download and run the driver, it will most likely not install the device, so you will have to manually install it.
Go to the device manager.
Click on the coprocessor device that needs the driver.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp39535.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
