Elitebook 840 G1
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

After installing a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit on my Elitebook 840 G1, and downloading almost all drivers, I have the remaining unknown drivers in Device Manager. (It would be really great if HP took a proactive stand and somehow helped customers figure out missing drivers)

1. PCI DEvice    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5227&SUBSYS_198F103C&REV_01

2. PCI Serial POrt    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C3D&SUBSYS_198F103C&REV_04

3. PCI SImple COmmunications    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C3A&SUBSYS_198F103C&REV_04

4. Unknown Device   ACPI\INT33A0

Any help locating these drivers would be greatly appreciated, as well as an approach to diagnosing driver FAilures.

THANKS!

The  PCI Device  PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5227&SUBSYS_198F103C&REV_01

still shows missing. When I rebooted my laptop, I got the error message that a device driver did not install successfully.

THis might be related to a message I received that .NET needed to be installed. I installed .NET 4.1 and rebooted - I'll try the driver reinstall again.

REALTEC USB Driver requires .NET installed before the driver install.

Everything is working now!

Thanks!!
