Somehow, two of the screws at the bottom of my laptop are gone. The screws are at the top right and left near where I close and open my laptop. I have no idea where they went or when I lost them but I need to order some more. I do not know what type they are and where to find them.
Without the screws, when I have to close my laptop I have to push down more to make sure it is completely closed or it will act as if I never closed it. Also, the laptop is partially coming apart so I would like this fixed asap.
Furthermore, somehow the long gripping of the laptop at the bottom (the two parts that make sure my laptop doesn't slide) are falling off as well. I just want to know if it is safe to use regular glue to put the gripping back on my laptop before it falls off again and I lose it.
Thank you so much. I hope if anyone has this problem that they also get it solved.

Laptop screws are pretty much universal across different brands. If you have a local shop that does computer repairs they would probably have some. Or places like Best Buy, Staples, etc usually have a repair center where they would have them.
Glue should work fine for the strips. Just be sure it works on the material.

Hi,
If the screws are missing it could be a hinge problem, as in the base where the screws screw in have broken off or come loose so you should propbably check out the inside where the PC is coming apart.
For the rubber strip I would try to use some strong double sided tape especially if there are screws under rubber strip which you might need to get to in the future. Some glues will actually "attack" the rubber. 3M makes some good products.
If you provide the exact model number of the PC we can help with guide to look at the inside of hinge and provide part number for the screw kit. Here is link to HP support page showing how to find model or product number.

Hope it helps,
