I just took delivery of my new laptop envy X360. No insert button and I ahve tried few combinations without any success.

 

Can not believe that HP would just get rid of this button when there so many other useless ones.

 

Please help. I am thinking of returning my laptop if I can not find it.

Check this thread, for a laugh and for a possible solution. I cannot tell from your picture but apparently the prtscn button has tiny writing that says ins on it and you press and hold the function key and that key till insert turns on.

Thanks for taking the time. I saw that discussion, there is no insert on the prt sc button. I checked really hard but no Ins anywhere.

 

I also tried all the combinations and no success. really gutted.

I have the same issue.  The only key I see that says "ins" is on the 0 button on the 10 key pad but i haven't found a combination to make it work.  I'm about beyond frustrated with it.
