Hi guys,

A good friend of mine gave a nice HP notebook which was benn given to him by his friend. Now my problem is when i check the laptop after buying a charger fot it, i found out that there is no hard drive on it and i have no idea what is the specs of the laptop. All i know is that its an i3, which is not bad. Ide love to put it all back together and probably ugrade it in a reasonble budget. Its a good deasent looking machine that just needs a bit of tlc. but i have no idea what to put in it ot where to get it. Any replies would  be gladly apriciated. Thank you.

Probably old owner remove HDD for privacy reason. That is normal practice : to remove HDD or to clean HDD the right way.

 

Anyway, you can add any standard 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD ,

HDD is a bit cheaper but much slower.

 

After installing new drive. You can rebuild machine using Cloud Recovery tool
