Microsoft Windows 11

Greetings,

I have an HP Laptop, Model 14-fq0110wm (5Z7Y9UA), and I need to add a larger SSD. I was told this would accept NVMe SSD but I cannot find any information to confirm that. The specs for the system are here. At that page if you scroll down is "View Full Specifications".

If it helps:  Product Number: 5Z7Y9UA#ABA. They won't allow me to down the Serial Number.

What I did read was the NVMe will fit in the existing SSD slot but this was at another Board.

What is the largest size storage this system will accept?

I'm really in a bind here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Best,

LGLDSR71

There is only one slot for M.2 SATA and M.2 NVME disks; there are no slots that can be different. Both disks use the same slot.

Hi @LGLDSR71

It has a Ryzen processor, which supports NVMe disks of any size you want: 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, or more.

Thanks Resistencia!

I still need to find out if this will physically fit. There's only one slot for the current SSD that I need to replace.

i've read the following: "This is because the laptop's M.2 slot is compatible with both SATA and NVMe drives, and the 14-fq0110wm model in question comes with an NVMe SSD as standard or is compatible with one for upgrade.". The system does not come with an NVMe but rather just an SSD.

Will an NVMe SSD physically fit into a standard SSD slot?

Thanks again!
