In case i am to purchase a WWAN card for my laptop (EliteBook 830 G5 Notebook PC; PN - 4DR64UC#ACF) how best can i get the right card. Does the laptop have an expandable slot for a WWAN to begin with? Thank you

Chapter 3 of the service manual has the supported WWAN adapters with their HP part numbers that were used in the model series:

 

HP EliteBook 830 G5 Notebook PCHP EliteBook 836 G5 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

WWAN module
LTE CAT4: Huawei HP lT4210, LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS    HP part # L15398-001
LTE CAT9: Fibocom lT4210 LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS         HP part # 845710-003

 

Make sure that the WWAN antenna wires are present in your notebook before purchasing one of the above model WWAN adapters.
