HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0077wm
Microsoft Windows 11

I’m using a Hp Pavilion Gaming 15-CX0077wm with a battery capacity of 19.5v-10.3A

The AC adapter I use is a 150W 19.5v - 7.7A

Anytime I plug the charger, I get a notification to get a higher AC adapter for the best performance of the laptop. What is the required AC adapter I should buy? Thanks.

If you are using the power adapter it was delivered with, the issue is likely to be a BIOS problem as you have updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

Here are the  BIOS updates that might be installed. If you do not have the latest one installed, you should install the most recent one.

Do be advised that there is always a chance of corrupting the BIOS  in a laptop with an earlier style BIOS.

Your laptop does not have the modern UEFI BIOS type so it is more susceptible to corruption and possible "bricking" during a BIOS update.
