Im new here.

My HP 15dy1032wm is need of a motherboard replacement. Im trying to locate one based on its model number.

HP 15-DY 1032wm SERIES LAPTOP :"MOTHERBOARD i3-1005G1 DA0P5DMB8C0 REV;C Model 0P5D"

This laptop is touchscreen so my concern is will all boards with Spare number: DA0P5DMB8C0 REV;C Model 0P5D have the touch feature to operate my screen or is it that the feature is on screen and it just needs to connect to the board.

Please help 🙂

DO NOT try to buy a laptop motherboard based on the model of the laptop. Use the HP Part Number for the motherboard itself.

Service Manual

Sorry to say HP has posted the Manual for the prior version with older processors in the Home Page for your model series. I will say all the motherboards in this model series have touchscreen capability built in and there is a header to connect the touchscreen hardware in addition to just the video image.

L71755-601  is the part number for your motherboard.
