Helloo everyone!
I'm here asking help because I don't know where can I buy a motherboard for my laptop.
Last year I bought a HP Probook 450 G5 i5 and I only used for a couple of months. It's still in warranty, but I'm living in Brazil and here they don't have covering.
I called to HP Support in Brazil and they told me they couldn't help me. So, someone here can tell me what can I do?
Thank you so much in advance.
Cheers,
Raphael Melanias

Sorry, but HP does no sell new motherboards for their laptops, so there is nothing we can do about this.
Understand that if you buy one online, it will not be new but USED, taken from an existing laptop, and is liable not to work.
Also, the HP OEM Windows license in your PC is tied to the motherboard not to the owner. So when you change the motherboard you are discarding the license and HP will not provide you a second one.
That means that when you replace the motherboard and boot into Windows, it will deactivate itself and you will NOT be able to reactivate it. You would have to then buy your own version of Windows, with your own license, and replace the version on the current PC with the one you bought.
