Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my hard drive to an SSD, and am wondering if my motherboard would support an NVMe or do I have to stick to SATA.

Thanks

Hi:

I wouldn't be able to answer your question without knowing the full model number or product number of your notebook.

Use this guide to find that information...

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.

Chapter 1 lists the supported storage drives.  2.5" SATA only.  No M.2 slots--SATA or NVMe

If you want to upgrade the HDD, then you will need to replace it with a 2.5" x7.0 mm SSD.
