Dear all,

 

I would like to know the part number for my motherboard of HP Pavilion 14-n201tx model.

 

Motherboard part number , keyboard part number and the fan part number.

So based on the manual and specs of my laptop I will be choosing the system board / motherboard with Nvidia ? 738156-601?

 

Mine is a HP pavilion 14 n201tx which has a dedicated 2gb Nvidia GT 740M and Intel i5-4200

 

Kindly confirm as the manual shared also shows for laptop without graphics or almost all 14inch laptops.

for your PC.

 

Perhaps if you try with the serial number above and perhaps here....

Don't forget any replacement Main Board wont have the tattoo done and wont accept an OS necessarily.

You may have to buy a new OS like W10?

Didn't get the tattoo bit and currently I am on win 10pro and the serial number only gives the specs as I shared.

 

HP parts surfer is an archaic or not up to date reference. I had checked already on that site. 

 

From the manual you shared the specs are matching the part number I mentioned earlier. Do you suggest I open the laptop to get the part number better ?

The tattoo is the HP serial number etc etc that, along with the MS info on the Main Board allows an OS to be installed.

 

The SSID and bios, all the invisible stuff.
