I need to replace the motherboard in my envy dv6 7380er laptop.
The partsurfer failed to provide details about the components used in my laptop (product number E3Z73EA) - "where used information is not available..."
So I am seeking any information on the partnumber (replacement number) that I could practically use to purchase a replacement of the motherboard.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Andrey
P. S. I don't have an access to this laptop temporarily, so can't get in to find a number.

This is the motherboard:
For use only on computer models equipped with the Intel 650M chipset, a 45- W processor, and a graphics subsystem with discrete video memory (includes 2.0-GB of graphics subsystem with discrete video memory) 682174-001
Post back with any more questions but please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

If you know how to look that up why do you need to ask me to spend my time looking? Seriously the specs match up...chipset wattage, etc. The motherboard will work. As will a couple of the others in the Service Manual.

Huffer,
I know how to look up a particular number, but I don't have the number itself as this info is not available for my laptop (I had mentioned that earlier).
Anyway thanks for the advice and the insight into how the specs can be used.

Are the 650m chipset and hm77 express (in my laptop as per the specs) the same?
