Product: HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0033dx

Had this laptop about 2 years, always ran really well.  A couple of days ago it would not turn on, tried several different chargers and power reset, no luck.  Took to local shop, they diagnosed "Motherboard bad/dead."  Have read many discussion threads stating this is common problem with this Spectre x360.  How can I get HP to replace the motherboard in my $1,800 laptop ?  Use it every day and exclusively when I travel.  Major headache and inconvenience.
