Motherboard Replacement

Hi I'm looking to upgrade the motherboard in my laptop. The laptop is HP Notebook 14 AM-127TX. My motherboard is damaged so I was hoping the community might have an idea of the product sheet I'm looking for that has the motherboards compatible with this chasis. Can someone please give me a link to the pdf product sheet I need?

The product specs for your PC indicate that it comes with an Intel i5-7200 processor with the AMD R5 M430 2 GB graphics adapter and the FreeDOS operating system.

Below is the link to the service manual.

Chapter 3 has the list of supported motherboards.

That motherboard part number and description is:

Intel Core i5-7200U processor and 2 GB of discrete graphics memory (R5M1-30) 902591-001

Now if you want to install the motherboard with a W10 product key in the BIOS then you need this one:

Intel Core i5-7200U processor and 2 GB of discrete graphics memory (R5M1-30) 902591-601

If you wanted to install the motherboard with the 7th gen i5 processor and 4 GB of graphics memory, that would be fine too as well as installing the motherboard with the Intel 7th gen i7 core processor with the AMD 2 GB or 4 GB of graphics memory.

Well, information (manual and product information) is lacking. I was able to find these compatible motherboards for your HP Notebook - 14-am127tx (1AD62PA), with part numbers:

902589-601 "MOTHERBOARD DSC R7M1-70 2GB i7-7500U WIN"

902591-601 "MOTHERBOARD DSC R5M1-30 2GB i5-7200U WIN" [The most likely motherboard based on this rather annoying YouTube video]

902595-601 "MOTHERBOARD UMA i3-7100U WIN"

There may be additional compatible motherboards for the HP Notebook - 14-am1xxx platform, but I wasn't able to identify them in the time I allotted to your question.

If it is the case that you are looking for a replacement motherboard, try AliExpress and search for "902591-601" from your country.

Motherboards with the UMA graphics would require a different heat sink, which is why I gave the part numbers and recommendations I gave as well as the service manual.

Installing a system board with the AMD graphics would require the least amount of parts replacement.
