I am totally disappointed with HP laptops. I bought my laptop on July 2018 and rarely used it. I only use it for average once a month to do my assignment on Microsoft Word/Powerpoint because I have computer as well at my home. But in January 2021, my laptop is already having problem with its hard drive which cause me to replace it with a new one even though there are not many documents saved in that hard drive. Two weeks later, the laptop is not working at all. No power at all. Hp technician claims that it is a motherboard issue and I need to replace it with a new motherboard. Know what? I never encounter any problem with my computers even though it is already 7 years. The RAM, hard drive and even the motherboard is still working fine until now even though I used it everyday. But this laptop, I only use it about once a month for just a light task. But already have issues with hard drive and most importantly motherboard. I'm totally disappointed with HP. Such a bad quality products. Please, extend the warranty for my laptop and replace the motherboard. I have read that there are also people complaints about their motherboard failure as well. Please replace it.

I can't believe no one has responded to you. SAME exact thing happened to two different HP x360s I have owned. The second one just died yesterday. Same issue...faulty/burned out motherboard. Both of my x360s were less than 2 years old...the second one was just over a year old. Inexcusable and, if you look at the history in this HP forum and on Reddit, this is a KNOWN issue since 2017 that HP has continually swept under the rug. Can everyone say "class action"?
