Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Star Wars edition 15-AN050NR INTEL i5-6200U 2.3GHz MOTHERBOARD 836097-601 who’s motherboard is done. I’m wondering what other motherboards are compatible or were used with this line of laptops. 

I guess I’m looking for part numbers or models for motherboards that would fit.

Your Service Guide here- http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04642845.pdf  on page 25 has a list of all available motherboards for that model. Also detailed instructions on how to remove and replace any part on the laptop.

 

They can be pretty pricey, there are services out there that you ship the laptop to them, they determine the problem and do board level repair to your motherboard, for 150-200$.
