Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i own an hp notebook (15-bs042ns). The actual motherboard I have is Intel Core i5-7200U processor (924751-601). Is it possible for me to install this motherboard including the new processor Intel Core i5-8250U processor (934908-xx1 )? Thank you in advance.

You have to select compatible system board on page 69 of the following manual

 

             http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf

 

Note:  You have to pay for new system board which has


    (a) Motherboard,

    (b) CPU / Processor

   (c) dGPU if available   (you may have to buy new AC adapter too).

    (d) New Windows license (you can't reuse old license)


Because all 4 above components are on one piece of hardware called system board.
