Motherboard upgrade

Hi!

I need to upgrade the motherboard of my HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab090no, produkt ID N3X91EA.

Does anyone know how to get the specs of the mounted one and such? And maybe where to buy the replacement?

Hi Niklas,

The part number for the motherboard you have in the notebook is

AMD A8-7410 processor        part number 809337-501

On page 48 of the service manual, you can see the compatible motherboards with part numbers. So, there is one with a more powerful CPU.

If you wanted to replace with one which also has dedicated Graphics "card", you will need to replace the heatsink in the notebook,

So, for example, the one with AMD A10-8700P processor and integrated graphics has part number 809338-xxx (you need to add xxxxxx-001: Without the Windows operating system

xxxxxx-501: Windows 8.1 Standard

xxxxxx-601: Windows 8.1 Professional

You will need to perform an online search with part number
