I have used this computer for around 3-4 years and I have run into a problem where one of the ram sticks have failed and is not showing up on anything. I have searched the web and I cannot find any solutions. It got to a point where I have looked it up and now I learned that I have to replace it. How would I go through this process without going through a whole different website such as EBAY? my motherboard is the N47921-601 (board model La-M798P)

If the memory has an issue, you will have to replace the entire motherboard.
The motherboard part number you posted shows that it comes with 8 GB of onboard memory.

Onboard memory means the memory is an integral part of the motherboard.
Here's an eBay listing with a photo for the motherboard part number your PC comes with.
