Hi @PrimoC,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

Are you referring to an external wired or wireless mouse?

Or is the touchpad which is not working?

You may refer to this document for touchpad issues.

For a wireless mouse Click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi Elohi,

Thanks for your reply. Touchpad was not working. I have tried all the steps listed in the document, except for resetting OS.

But, suddenly the touch pad has started working again. I have no idea how it started working again or whether it will stop working some time later. If you have faced anything similar, please share the resolution, if any,

Thank you

Himanshu

Hi @PrimoC,

Glad to hear that. By following the steps recommended it might have done or removed static from your unit.

Make sure all the drivers, Bios, and Windows updates are up to date.

Thank you for your time and patience. Do keep us posted if anything in the future. Take care
