For the last few weeks, every time I move my finger on the mouspad, the right click menus open automatically. The right click key is stuck down and I can barely use my mousepad now because of this. I've tried to run the HP hardware diagnostics a number of times but after a few seconds it seems to freeze.
I think this needs replacing but I'm not sure which part I'd need and where to find it - if someone could point me in the right direction I'd be very appreciative. Also, is there a tutorial anywhere to walk me through replacing it? I'm using Win10 64 bit.
Thank you in advance.

The vendors that I have seen appear to show that the keyboard comes with everything but the separate launchpad module.
I can't see why you would need to replace that.
I notice that the UK version does have the GBP symbol so there is that as well.
The touch pad button board is included with the replacement keyboard, so that is why it is "not spared".
Here is a disassembly video from YouTube for the 15-da0000 model. Use a plastic scribing or spudging tool. Use a cup or tape to keep all of the tiny screws in a place they won't be come lost.
This does involve a near complete disassembly of the lower part of the laptop. You do not need to disassemble the display.
Here is a source for the replacement keyboard, UK version

That usually means that there is dust or something sticky causing a problem.
I suggest uninstalling the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics utility and afterwards installing a fresh copy from the Driver and software download page for your laptop.
You did not state whether your laptop keyboard has backlighting. Does it?
To replace the Touchpad buttons, you will need to replace the keyboard. The UK country code is -031.
Had you considered opening the laptop and cleaning it?
There may be dust or something else causing the button to stick. It may be a better idea to have it done by a laptop shop.
The Maintenance & Service guide has an illustrated parts list. (chapter 3, page17)

Thank you, I've managed to download a copy of the diagnostics that works. The only thing it failed on was the right click button, which I knew it would anyway. Everything else was fine. I can barely click the right click key now, I have to say it's never been great, pretty soft to use.

Thanks Erico. I have downloaded your pdf. My keyboard isn't backlit. From what I've been told by an HP parts stockist, I would need to replace the palmrest, keyboard and touchpad rather than just the touchpad or touchpad and keyboard. I want to make sure before I attempt to strip it down so I know exactly what I'm up against. I don't want to be left without a working laptop for any reason as it's my lifeline - I'm disabled.
ETA - I have found the part no. L20387-031 - that is the palmrest and keyboard. Would I potentially need to buy the touchpad module L20449-001 as well? I've noticed there's no touchpad module with a -031 code, just the 001 code. Does that make a difference? The touchpad button board is marked as 'not spared'.
I think that is my final question thank you!

Thank you so much Enrico, that's so helpful. I'm going to follow your advice and see how I go. If the worst comes to the worst, I'll put it all into a carrier bag and take it to the repair shop. I should be fine though, I've managed this far!
Thanks again, I really appreciate your help with this 😎
