Dear HP Support Team,
I am experiencing several issues with my HP 250 G7 Notebook PC running Windows 11. Here are the details:
- Battery Issues:
- The battery status shows: "The battery is functioning correctly, but due to normal aging, the battery life between charges is now significantly shorter than when the battery was new."
- The charge drops even when the laptop is not in use, and it takes a long time to charge fully.
- Overheating and Shutdowns:
- The laptop becomes very hot during use.
- It suddenly shuts down without warning.
- Error Details:
- Failure ID: REEOOW.
I would like to know:
- Is a replacement battery available for purchase for my laptop model?
- What would be the cost and process to replace the battery?
- Are there alternative solutions to improve battery performance and prevent overheating?
Additional Details:
- No recent software or driver changes have been made.
- I am using a wireless internet connection.
Please let me know how to resolve these issues.

I looked at your thread from 2022 and wonder why you are asking about the issue.

It was asked and answered and you marked the post from a different HP Expert as the solution.
This is the same laptop, so have the battery replaced again.
