HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-c0000 (320M3AV)

I bought a new HP laptop from Amazon about 10 months ago. I can verify the purchase that it was bought new with a one year warranty. The charger that came with the laptop is HP part number L25296-001. It just suddenly stopped working one day when I plugged it back into my laptop. My laptop can run off a battery now, so I am not able to use it without a working charger. I want to apply for a replacement before the warrant runs out, but I do think HP laptop chargers have individual serial numbers. Is there any way I can contact HP directly to apply for a replacement charger?

Laptop power adapters do not have individual serial numbers.

With the length of time it will take to have a new power adapter sent to you, you may be better off purchasing a new one out of you own pocket. At @ $10-13.00 USD it isn't much of a bite.
