My Certified/Refurbished HP Notebook 15-ba113cl has a serial number that HP does not recognize.

My goal is to find the specifications for my computer.

I purchased my 15-ba113cl in Dallas. I had not used it in years, and had to replace the battery. I tried updating it, and it did not work. Most importantly, I lost my login information.

This information shows on the plate:

Certified Refurbished 15-ba113cl

S/N: [personal info removed]

P/N: X7577UAR#ABA

Warranty: 90d90d0d

I tried registering my computer using the serial number, but HP would not accept it. I used both a "Zero" and an "Upper case O" before the last letter in the S/N, the "Z".

Neither worked. Since I did not have a valid registration, then my Warranty Number did not work, as well.

Has anyone had this problem?

Is there another way to find the specifications of my computer?

The serial number turns up the same information:

HP has removed the product specs link, but I was able to find this cached webpage which still showed the specs.
