I have been using my HP laptop Since 2020, now it's not turning on or charging. Everytime i plug in the power an orange-like light keeps on blinking at the charge indicator light. I tried removing the battery and plugged out, held the power button for 30 seconds and then power on, but it hasn't worked. No response from the fan or anything. Only the white light and the blinking orange light together at the charge indicator appears when i plug in power. What could be the problem and how do i solve this. Kindly HP support give me a solution to this, i'll appriciate.

The laptop is about 12-13 years old. The symptoms you describe indicate a failed motherboard. A replacement can likely be found on eBay or a similar site. I would simply get a replacement laptop and swap your hard drive into it. Paying a technician to install a new motherboard makes little sense but if you can get the labor done for little or no cost, a motherboard would likely be very inexpensive. The 2560p is a great laptop made very well for its day.

Looks like around $30 on US eBay....this seller would ship to Kenya, which would likely cost more than the part:
