Hi @krisgnakashyap, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your HP laptop's keyboard and mouse. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to get them working again:
Restart Your Laptop
*Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds until the laptop shuts down.
*Turn it back on and check if the keyboard and mouse work.
Check External Devices
*If you have a USB keyboard/mouse connected, unplug them.
*If using a docking station, disconnect and try again.
Check for Physical Issues:
- Ensure that the keyboard and mouse are properly connected if they are external devices.
- For wireless devices, check the batteries and ensure they are turned on.
Update or Reinstall Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager.
- Find the keyboard and mouse under the respective categories.
- Right-click and select Update driver. If that doesn't work, try Uninstall device and then restart your laptop to reinstall the drivers automatically.
Check BIOS Settings:
- Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F10, F2, or Del during startup).
- Ensure that the keyboard and mouse are enabled in the BIOS settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
