**Resolved via Windows Update!!** There was an Update for the Synaptics FP Device after all!! :-)I   just had to install a new Windows 10 Pro OS on the Laptop. Everything went smoothly once I converted the C drive to GPT. Upon startup I no longer have the Fingerprint Option for Log in. Everything else is working fine.  I checked the Device Manager and the Synaptics FP device is no longer there. The Synaptics Keyboard works fine and is showing up in Device Manager. I ran Belarc and it sees the Synaptic FP info. I tried to add the FP Device in Device Manager but no luck. I was using the FP Login just before the new installation, so I know it was working. Any advice or information is greatly appreciated. RobA7937
