My HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen (3J122AA) is no longer working with my HP ENVY 15-eu0xxx x360 Convertible.
Symptoms:
- The pen's touch input is not recognized by the screen. No cursor movement or ink response occurs when using the pen.
- Troubleshooting Steps:
- Recharged the pen until the white light indicator confirms full charge.
- Calibrated the pen through Windows settings.
- Restarted the laptop numerous times.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Pen driver.
- Checked and enabled Bluetooth.
- Changed Pen tip with 3 other ones that came with the laptop
- Additional Information:
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Pen Model: 3J122AA HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen (Black)
- Last used the pen: Last month before it got lost.
- Important Note: I just installed the latest Windows update as a troubleshooting step, unfortunately, the issue persists.
- Impact: This problem prevents me from using the full functionality of my laptop for note-taking, drawing, and other pen-based tasks.
Request:
I kindly request assistance in diagnosing and resolving this problem. Please let me know if any further information is needed, especially considering the newly installed Windows update.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

What is the build version of Windows 11 that you have installed?
I just checked mine and had the same experience. I don't use it often so I will charge it up to see if that makes a difference.
My for year old Spectre x360 13-ap000 ultrabook has Windows 11 Pro Build 23H2 installed.
OK. I charged it for a few minutes and my MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen (3J122AA) works.

And you haven't answered my other question because?
Try the charged stylus on another laptop that has a compatible touchscreen for troubleshooting.
That way you will know if the issue is that your OS has issues or your stylus is no longer working.
If this does not work in a two way format it does not work.
