@Utsav11, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Buzzing Sound from HP Laptop Power Brick!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP laptop power brick (230W) is making a low buzzing sound, it may indicate a few potential issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the Electrical Outlet: Plug the power brick directly into a wall outlet and avoid using power strips as they can sometimes cause additional noise.

Inspect the Power Brick:

  • Ensure that all connections are secure.
  • Look for any visible damage or wear on the power brick or cables.

Environmental Interference:

  • Move the power brick around on your desk and see if the buzzing changes. This might indicate interference from nearby electronic devices.
  • Try turning off other electronics on your desk to see if the buzzing stops.

Replace the Power Brick: If the buzzing persists and you suspect that the power brick might be defective, you should consider replacing it to avoid any damage to your laptop.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
