Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP envy hinge is broken. the laptop is 3 years old i am the sole user and the usage of the laptop has been very minimal too. I hear this is a design flaw and many people have been facing this ..what is the solution for this?

HP Support UK (3rd party repair company Micro Focus?) quoted me £314.29 and then reduced it by 15% for my 3 year old HP Envy 360.   I think this is overpriced replacing the plastic top cover.  I repaired it with Araldite and made a mental note not to buy HP products ever again.  I'm typing this on an Apple Mac and have a Dell on desk now.
