Hi, its my regards to HP for its quality products providing for users for decades.
But currently i am dealing with an un resolving error on HP 16GB v220w Pendrive.
My pendrive is write protected, but im not sure how this is happend.
When i connect My HP pendrive to system, immedietly ask for the formatting. When i tap format it informs that "your device is write protected". And turns away.
I tried, regedit, cmd methods AND softwares to format it and to remove write protection.
Recently i tried HP format software "restore v3.18.0.0" on my windows 10.
It is not detecting my HP USB drive.
When i keep other pendrives it is detecting.
I am very glad to have this problem get rid and resolve my issue about my pendrive HP v220w 16GB.
I dont know it is detecting just as a drive with (:h) like this but if i click it ask for format, but unable to format Becuase of device write protected issue. Its my sincere request to help me resolve this problem. with hope~PrashanthReddyRK

If UFix III is the tool you've already tried, the conclusion at https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Format-HP-v220w-USB-Flash-Driv... was that the pendrive itself is broken.
Having said that, http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/17620-63-v220w-flash-drive-working-system-windows mentions trying the drive again, but connect it via a USB extension cable, or freezing the drive!
