Hi All,

 

I want to Upgrade RAM in HP 15 Notebook PC . I have already 4 GB RAM .

MY Question 

HOw much RAM I can upgrade to Max ?

Is DDR4 is supported ?

Currently DDR3 (4 GB) I have ,  Can I add another DDR 4 ?

Which brand HP recommends ?

We would need to know the exact model number to provide detailed advice. You definitely cannot install DDR4 if the laptop curently has DDR3. How far you can upgrade depends on how many memory slots you have and your processor which we will know if you give us the model number.

Understand I do not work for HP and occasionally I have to disappear for a few days to handle my paying job. 

 

Your laptop maxxes at 2 x 8 = 16 gigs of DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM. DDR4 and more than 16 gigs is not going to work.
