Hi All,
I purchased an HP Victus 16 laptop in May of this year. Initially, I had a problem where Unreal Engine 5 would frequently crash, but after updates, etc., this issue stopped occurring. For a while, there were no issues with it, but recently, I've been facing a problem where, while playing games like Diablo IV, the laptop freezes after a certain amount of time, and nothing can be done. It doesn't return to working, and only a hard reset helps. After updating the graphics drivers, the situation only got worse.
Yesterday, I conducted a full computer diagnostics, and it didn't reveal any issues. The computer is regularly updated using HP tools and those specifically designed for the hardware.

I suggest using the CanIRunIt? utility to see what the issue is. CanIRunIt? is a safe enthusiast utility.

In my opinion, it is not a problem that the computer does not meet the game's requirements. The computer has a previous generation Geforce card and a good processor. I think the problem is on the cooling side, because the laptop reaches temperatures of around 100 degrees while gaming and even a cooling pad doesn't help much.

I much prefer hard data over opinions.
That is why I use the utility before parting with my $$ to buy a game.
