@BantyBeta, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Nvidia graphic card!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Ensure the card is properly seated: If you’re using a desktop, open the case and ensure that the graphics card is securely and properly seated in its PCI-E slot.
BIOS/UEFI Settings: Enter the BIOS/UEFI settings on boot to check if the graphics card is recognized there. Ensure the primary display adapter is set to the correct graphics card (this is more relevant for desktops).
Power Connections: Check that any necessary power connectors are properly connected to the graphics card.
Check in Device Manager: In Device Manager, click on "View" and then "Show hidden devices". See if the card is listed under "Display adapters".
Update Drivers: Try downloading the latest Nvidia drivers from the official website or through software like GeForce Experience.
Reinstall Drivers: Uninstall any previously installed Nvidia drivers in "Programs and Features", and reinstall them.
Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows is up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
Check for Conflicts: Ensure there are no conflicts within Device Manager.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
