Hi @DnL3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I’m really sorry to hear your HP PC was exposed to liquid; that can definitely be stressful. Let’s go over what can be done next.

Liquid damage can affect not only the hard drive and operating system but also the internal components, such as the motherboard, battery, or keyboard. Because of this, liquid damage isn’t covered under the standard HP warranty, but HP does offer out-of-warranty repair services that can assess the extent of the damage and, if possible, recover or reinstall the operating system.

Could you please share your HP PC’s product name or serial number (you can send it privately, not publicly)? Once we have that, we can check available service options and guide you on the best way to get your device inspected and repaired by an authorized HP service center.

In the meantime, please do not power on or attempt to charge the device if it’s still damp. Doing so can cause further electrical damage.

We’ll do our best to help you get your PC back up and running safely.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
