Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cs3063cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My Pavilion Model 15-cs3063cl screen started to flicker recently.  I contacted Costco Concierge Service and the tech suggested disconnecting the power and holding down the start button for 60 seconds before restarting.  This worked temporarily, but the problem recurred the next time I booted up. What would you suggest? (FYI - previous to this, the PC would "buzz" when I start it up and then randomly, but especially when I write a command (open file, delete, copy, etc.  I’ve cleaned the cooling vents and make sure BIOS was up to date and still have the noise. I recently updated to Windows 11 - This had no effect.)

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

(1) Double check with external monitor connected via vga/hdmi cable. Same "flickering" on external monitor ?

- Shutdown notebook

- Power off external monitor

- Connect vga/hdmi cable

- Power on external monitor

- Power on notebook

 

(2) Please report your results
