My SD Card reader has stopped working, I believe since the upgrade to window's 11. Anyone else with that issue or suggestions on how to fix it?

Hi:

 

There are two different W11 SD card reader drivers on the 15-dy0xxx support page.

 

See if updating the driver to the W11 version gets the SD card reader driver to work again.

 

You will need to know what model SD card reader you have (Realtek or Alcor).

 

The drivers are listed under the Storage driver section when you select the W11 operating system.

I've tried to download it a few times and it looks like it's working but the SD reader still isn't working. 

 

I am quite frustrated that someone from HP won't talk to me since my laptop is out of warranty, this issue comes from their update to window's 11.
