I bought this device about 2 years ago and it's been working perfectly fine until today. I wake up and flip the screen and tap the power button 10 seconds later I realise laptop isn't turning on, maybe I missed the switch. I check the charging port it's plugged in and boom smash that power button again and it starts acting all funny. This time I realized something's wrong so very carefully I gently presss the power button and analyse the pattern of blinking on the power button. I press the button and find the button to blink once when I press it and then after maybe about 5 seconds it blinks twice but both the blinks have a certain pause in between. Now I remove the charger and try to turn it on , nothing sorta works, puts the charger back on and tries again still not working. So I looked up for solution online and even found similar questions being asked here and someone actually posted a solution, I tried them all like the windows button and V button and power button for 5 seconds and other stuff, none of that seems to work for me. Help this poor lad out, I've got loads of work to do.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Victus!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Victus laptop. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check for Power Issues:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the laptop and the power outlet.
- Try a different power outlet or adapter, if available, to rule out any power source issues.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter and remove any external peripherals.
- Press and hold the power button on the laptop for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power adapter and attempt to power on the laptop again.
Identify Power LED Indicators:
- Observe the pattern of LED blinking or any error codes that might be displayed. Refer to your user manual for any relevant codes or messages.
Check Battery Status:
- If your laptop battery is removable, try removing it and booting the laptop solely with the power adapter connected.
Remove Peripheral Devices:
- Disconnect all external devices, including USB drives and external monitors, and attempt to start the laptop again.
Inspect for Physical Damage:
- Visually inspect the laptop for any signs of physical damage, particularly around the power button area.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
