My asthmatic daughter's laptop caught fire while she was asleep in her room last night with her bedroom door closed.  I heard a loud pop noise searched my house to see if something fell.  Came back upstairs smelled smoke went into my daughter's room down the hall which was filled with smoke and toxic fumes.  We quickly realized her desk was on fire.  We realized it was coming from her laptop.  We put the fire out and are now dealing with the aftermath. My daughter's room has a toxic smell and so does her clothes.  I did some research online this morning and found articles about a massive recall.
