Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand that your HP notebook battery is not working correctly, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Does the notebook shut down immediately (right after you unplug the charger)?
- Do you get any error messages on your notebook (Such as Plugged in, not charging, etc.)?
- What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8. (Refer to the removable and sealed battery)
BIOS default:(do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks for your reply.
As you mention all the steps, I tried that, and still, it stuck at 75%.
And as you asked for
- Does the notebook shut down immediately (right after you unplug the charger)?
- No
- Do you get any error messages on your notebook (Such as Plugged in, not charging, etc.)?
- No
- What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far?
- Reinstalling my bios update and I also tried deleting my battery drivers and restarted but still, it's the same
How long do I charge, it's still on 75%
Hoping for your next suggestion

Thank you for posting back.
HP provides diagnostic software for testing hardware components on your computer and confirms hardware failures.
- In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.
- Select the My notebook tab, and then click Battery.
- Click Run battery check.
- Wait while the battery check completes.
- Review the HP Support Assistant Battery Check results.
