Hi..
The battery for my new bought laptop HP pavilion x360 ba073tx last only for a couple of hours after fully charge. This continue to be the problem even after I changed the power management or limited downloading any internet streaming - not even running any games. I done the hp diagnostic tools as suggested and it said the battery was fine - that is weird. Another member of family is also having the same problem. We bought it ont he same day nad seems like both having the same issue.
How do I best deal with this issue? Should I send it back to service center? I notice few comments in regards to battery issue from this laptop- was this the same and how it get fixed?

Hi,
Have you checked Windows updates? HPSA (HP Support Assistant Update)? BIOS?
This are the things you have to check to fix battery issues.
Running a diagnostic test to your battery is the "automated battery calibration"
You also needs to run the manual calibration.
1. Charge your computer up to 100% (While the computer is ON)
2. Use the computer and completely drain the battey til it shuts off
3. Charge the computer again but this time it should be turned OFF
4. Charge it until the battery is full
5. Repeat Step 2
6. Repeat Step 3
7. Use the computer and observe the battery life
Note: Before trying this step make sure all the necessary updates were installed like BIOS and stuff.
Regards,
ichi
