HP 250R 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, my boss has a very slow laptop (HP 250R 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC).  It only has 4GB RAM and the manual says it has
"Two SODIMM slots, not customer accessible or upgradeable, supporting up to 32 GB of RAM".

The statement "not customer accessible or upgradeable" seems incredible, can he really not increase the RAM?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Octopus332

as it is a service manual, it means that a normal user can not access from outside the laptop, it must be opened to update, and this is usually done by a technician, not all users know how to open the laptop.

If you know how to open the laptop you can upgrade yourself.
