My laptop works perfectly fine but recently it has been shutting off saying my laptop battery is low, but my battery percentage is nowhere to be drained. I already tried to restart it and thought maybe it was an update issue but it still randomly shuts off. Should I be worried?

Is your Chromebook still within the one year free factory warranty period?
Here is a link to the HP support portal for your Chromebook.
If it is, contact HP to arrange for a repair. A notebook shutting off with a battery warning is an indocation of a battery that has reached the end of its service life.
Try the Chrome OS diagnostics
If it is no longer within warranty, it is time to have the original battery replaced with a new compatible battery.
The battery is relatively inexpensive. (Battery (2 cell, 47 Whr) HP part number L75783-005)

That should return the Chromebook to use as a mobile device.
