HP Notebook - 15-da2002nt
Microsoft Windows 11

It gives a blue screen when turning on my computer. After a few minutes it is 100% complete and turns itself on without touching anything. Normally, it wasn't a situation that bothered me too much, after all, it didn't happen all the time and there was no performance degradation on the pc, but recently, especially after formatting, blue screens started to increase and my performance started to drop seriously. While I normally get around 90fps in games, I started getting 30-40fps now and it started to bother me a lot. This low performance was also present before formatting, that's why I formatted it. I am using HP Model 15-da2002nt Laptop. I bought the laptop 3 years ago. I've never had it cleaned or cleaned myself. I thought it might be due to temperature, but when I downloaded msi afterburner and looked at the game, it saw a maximum of 82 degrees, which was reasonable between 70-80 degrees as a result of my internet research. I was not sure and wanted to post here for your help. In addition, I made all kinds of hardware checks through the HP Hardware Diagnostics Windows application and there were no problems, and they passed all the tests. I also do Windows Update regularly and check for updates. I need your help. Thanks in advance.

Experiencing a blue screen error after a fresh format on your HP Notebook could indicate a hardware or software issue. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Update Drivers: Ensure that all your drivers are up to date, especially graphics and chipset drivers. You can visit the HP support website, enter your laptop's model number, and download the latest drivers from there.
  • Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your operating system is fully updated. Windows updates often include bug fixes and patches that can address compatibility issues.
  • Run Hardware Diagnostics: HP laptops usually have built-in hardware diagnostic tools. Restart your laptop and press the appropriate key (usually F2 or Esc) during the boot process to access the diagnostics menu. Run a comprehensive hardware test to check for any potential hardware problems.
  • Disable Automatic Restart: By default, Windows automatically restarts your computer after encountering a blue screen error. You can disable this feature to get a chance to view the error message. Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery > Settings. Uncheck the box next to "Automatically restart."
  • Note the Error Message: If you can catch the error message that appears on the blue screen, note it down. It might provide valuable information about the underlying issue.
  • Check for Overheating: Overheating can cause unexpected errors and crashes. Ensure that your laptop's cooling vents are not blocked and use a cooling pad if necessary.
  • Perform a Clean Windows Installation: If the problem persists, it might be necessary to perform a clean installation of Windows. This involves creating a bootable USB or DVD with the Windows installation files and reinstalling the operating system from scratch. Ensure that you have backed up your important data before proceeding with this step.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
