HP Envyx360

I went onto my computer and the mousepad as well as the keyboard was not working. It seems to be stuck in tablet mode, but I know for s fact is it not in tablet mode.

@Bonnie5151
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • What is the operating system?

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

  • Click Settings on the Start Menu.
  • Select System.
  • Select Tablet mode in the left pane. A Tablet mode submenu appears.
  • Toggle "Make Windows more touch-friendly . . ." to on to enable Tablet mode. Toggle it off to go to desktop mode.

Select "Don't ask me and always switch" from the "When this device automatically switches" menu if you want Windows 10 to switch modes on your 2-in-1 without prompting you. Restart the notebook.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
