Hi @Chelz-11
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It looks like your HP diagnostics tool needs an update. Here’s how you can fix it:
Steps to Update HP Diagnostics
Check for Updates in HP Support Assistant
- Open HP Support Assistant on your PC.
- Go to Updates and check if a new version of HP PC Hardware Diagnostics is available.
- Install any pending updates.
Manually Download the Latest Version
- If updating through HP Support Assistant doesn’t work, uninstall the current version:
- Open Settings → Apps → Apps & Features.
- Find HP PC Hardware Diagnostics, uninstall it, and restart your PC.
- Download the latest version from HP’s official diagnostics page.
Check Windows Services
- Some users have reported that the Windows Event Log Service must be running for HP Diagnostics to work.
- Open Services (Windows + R, type services.msc), find Windows Event Log, and ensure it’s set to Automatic and Running.
Try these steps and let me know if you need further assistance!
